Summer Camp at Camp Manatoc 2019

|Subject:||Scouts of the area have been attending camp in the hills of the Cuyahoga Valley starting in 1922. Through the years, the location, size, and facilities of the camp have changed, however the purpose has not. The camp, its staff, unit leaders and volunteers all work hard to provide every Scout the best in Scout summer camping. Our main flag for camp is flown atop the Butler Memorial dedicated to H. Karl Butler, the local philanthropist primarily responsible for the land the camp sits on. The camp you are attending this summer has a history dating to 1932 and we are all proud to welcome you to understand why "...to these things you must return."|
2019 Cub Scout Day Camp

|Subject:||Day Camp is open to all Cub Scouts, including Kindergarten graduates, and will offer an unforgettable outdoor experience with activities ranging from shooting sports to science. Scouts shoot BB guns and bows and arrows; work on badges and adventure loops; cook out; sing songs; learn about nature; make crafts; and play games.|
GTC Summit Experience

|Subject:||Manatoc Scout Reservation is proud to offer the Summit Trek: an opportunity for Scouts and Venturers to enjoy the adventures available at the Summit Bechtel Reserve, the BSA's newest national base in West Virginia! This exclusive opportunity includes meals, roundtrip transportation, and the programs available in the Walter Scott Summit Center. Participants will head to The Summit Monday morning, and return Friday.|

|Subject:||The Wood Badge course is an internationally recognized leadership development course, with leadership skills taught that are equal to or better than any current leadership training in industry today.|
The course uses indoor and outdoor settings to teach the essentials of leadership. You will learn what makes leadership work and how to make it work for you and your unit. You will learn to apply those skills to help your unit function more effectively as a team. You will become a better manager by practicing these skills. Finally you will have the opportunity to state your goals as a leader (your "Ticket") and put into motion a plan to achieve these goals.
The positive influence of this course is unparalleled and is applicable to our every day lives in our units, at home, and at work.
